Edna was baptized Annie Mollie Edna Smith on 1 April 1883 according to Missouri Lutheran Church records. The Memphis Press-Scimitar, Memphis, Tennessee, Friday, January 11, 1980 MRS. EDNA S. POPE, 98, of Resthaven Nursing Home, retired practical nurse, yesterday at the nursing home. She was a member of Madison Heights United Methodist Church. She leaves two grandsons; and three great grandchildren. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel.
