Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Eastview Cemetery, officiating will be Rev. Paul Nueberger. Interment will be under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Dan was born Monday, December 27, 1926 in Harrold, Texas. He was the son of the late Charlie Schumann and the late Mary Walbrick Schumann. He married Felby Schwede on March 14, 1945 in Altus, OK. He had lived in Vernon all of his life. He served in the US Army during WWII in Japan as heavy weapon crewman. He was a gain mill operator and truck driver for 49 years. He is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He is survived by His Wife Felby Schumann of the home Two Daughters Edith Kubicek & Husband Edward of Vernon, TX. Donna Miller & Husband Donnie of Clovis, NM. One Son Glenn Schumann of Chillicothe, TX. Three Brothers Gus Schumann, Edd Schumann and Marvin Schumann all of Vernon, TX. Grandchildren Robby Kubicek, Ryan & Brittany Kubicek of Vernon, TX. Regan & Christina Kubicek of Ft. Hood, TX. Jennifer & Bryan Stewart of Lazbuddie, TX. Kimber & Josh Jameson, of Clovis, NM. Angela & Jeremiah Shepard of Lubbock, TX. Glenna Schumann of Rockwall, TX. Six Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Gregory, Edna Ryan, four brothers Alvin, Charles, John and Walter Schumann. Visitation will be Saturday 1:00 Pm till service time at Sullivan Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Hospice of Wichita Falls. Pallbearers will be Robby Kubicek, Ryan Kubicek, Regan Kubicek, Bryan Stewart, Josh Jameson and Jeremiah Shepard
