MRS. J. R. BRISCOE DIES AT 71; FUNERAL TUESDAY AFTERNOON Mrs. James R. Briscoe, Sr., 71, died at 3:15 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her home, 1201 Emerson street. She is survived by her husband; seven children, Joe Henry, James R., Jr., Robert, Samuel, Charles Ernest and George Franklin Briscoe, Mrs. Don Brockman and Mrs. Sterling Brockman, all of Moberly; a sister, Mrs. Mary Spicer, Higbee; and 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. The body will be at the home until funeral services at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Church of God by the Rev. Ernest Palmer.
