wife of Sydney (Cyd) Williams who was the son of Caleb S. Williams and Ruth Pickard of Tn. Beloved mother to: Mary Louisa Frances Ophelia Williams, Ida Euphrasia Gonzales Williams Blackwell,Margaret (Peggy)Green Williams Burks, William Walter Williams(called Tom),Zearqula Catherine Williams Barnes,and Benjamin Taylor Williams. Mary Catherine Cooper Williams was the dau of Col. Robert Melville Cooper and Catherine Cooper of Maury/Lewis Co. Tn. Mary Catherine and her husband came to Texas in 1885 from Maury Co., Tn.They settled in Cleburne, Tx in Johnson Co. in 1886. They moved back to Tn, when her husband died in Tn, she and her 3 son came to Texas influenced by her two brothers that lived there Paris Cooper in Dallas Co. Tx and Albert Gallatin who lived in Weatherford, Parker Co., Tx.
