Abilene Reporter News - June 5, 2001 CLYDE - A celebration of life for Wanda France will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 105 Oak, Clyde, Texas. Officiating will be Pastor Carl Rea, a friend of the family from Wills Point, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at the funeral home in Clyde. Burial will be in the Clyde Cemetery following the service. Wanda Joy France, 68, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2001, after a long battle with cancer. She was born June 24, 1932, in Snyder, Texas and had been a resident of Clyde for the past seven years, having previously lived 21 years in Slaton, Texas. Wanda retired from Texas Instruments in Lubbock. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
