Gulf Coast Tribune, August 11, 1988: Funeral services for Bill Domel, 70, of Needville, were Sunday, August 7, 1988, at Garmany and Carden Chapel in Needville. Officiating the service was Rev. Richard Avery. Burial was in Needville Public Cemetery. Mr. Domel died Friday, August 5, 1988, at Polly Ryon Hospital. Mr. Domel was born November 25, 1917 in Thompsons, Texas. He was a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church and the American Legion #350 in Needville. He is survived by his wife, Edith Domel of Needville; two sons, Richard Domel of East Bernard and Thomas Domel of Needville; two daughters, Nancy Stack of Needville and Judy Zdunkewicz of Needville; three brothers, Edwin Domel of Brazoria, Edgar Selig of Guy, and Lester Selig of Guy; seven grandchildren. Services were under the direction of the Garmany and Carden Funeral Directors in Needville.
