Bio

Rosenberg Herald, August 9, 1937: Funeral services were held at the family home in Needville Monday, August 9, 1937, at 2 p.m. for Calvin Clyde Nawara, age 8 years, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nawara. Services were conducted in the presence of a host of relatives and friends by Rev. E.O. Mueller of Needville. Interment took place in the Needville Public Cemetery. The Foerster Funeral Home of Rosenberg had charge of funeral arrangements. Calvin Clyde was born at the farm home of his parents near Needville January 24, 1929. He was presented to God in Holy Baptism April 28, 1929 and he attended services regularly at the Ev. Immanuels Church at Needville. He was a sweet little character with a bright disposition that made friends for him always. Calvin Clyde was suddenly stricken about three weeks previous to his going away. He was removed from his home to the hospital where all in human power was done to save hie life, but to no avail--God needed this bright little star to shine in heaven and called him there Sunday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock. Deceased is survived by his heartbroken parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nawara; two sisters, Lona Mae and Elenora; and his grandmother, Mrs. Johanna Nawara.
