Bio

Herald Coaster, June 12, 1985: Funeral services for Mattie Mesecke, 82, of Fort Bend County (lifelong resident), are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville. Officiating the service will be Rev. Richard Avery. Burial will be in Needville Public Cemetery in Needville. Mesecke died June 11 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond. Survivors include three sisters, Ella Christ of Needville, Edna Kassler of Damon, and Lena Kramer of Pasadena; brother, Ernest Mesecke of Needville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
