Bio

Herald Coaster, September 16, 1975: Funeral services for Hugo Mesecke, 78, of Needville, will be today at 3:30 from Garmany and Company in Needville. Reverend George Kuebler will officiate. Burial will be in the Needville Public Cemetery. Mr. Mesecke died Monday at Richmond's Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Washington County in Texas and moved to Needville when he was six. He was a farmer. Mr. Mesecke is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lena Kramer of Houston, Mrs. Ella Christ of Needville, Miss Mattie Mesecke of Needville, and Mrs. Edna Kassler of Damon; and two brothers, Konrad Mesecke of Beasley and Ernest Mesecke of Needville.
