Violet Gurr Farnsworth 1900 - 1922 Violet Farnsworth, 22 years of age, wife of Roland [Ronald] Edwin Farnsworth, died this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Nellie Rowley, 342 South Seventh East Street. Degeneration of the nerves was the cause of death. Mrs. Farnsworth was born May 9, 1900, at Colonia Pacheco, Mexico. She came to Provo from Rigby, Idaho, with her husband and family last April and they have resided in Pleasant View since that time. Besides her husband, Mrs. Farnsworth is survived by one son and one daughter; her father, Rubon [Reuben] Burr [Gurr], of Provo; three brothers, Wallace, Wilford and Thomas Burr [Gurr], of Provo; and five sisters, Mrs. Nellie Rowley, Mrs. Maud Rowley, Mrs. Mary Palmer, and Mrs. Addie Edwards, of Provo, and Mrs. Clarissa Perkins, of Hood River, Oregon. The body is in [the] charge of Berg Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Bonneville Ward meeting house [meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints].
