Bio

Irene Bethine Ingraham, 91, of Burwell died on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Irene was born on Sept. 11, 1920, in Valley County to William and Ella (Clement) Worm. Irene married Alvin George Ingraham on Aug. 17, 1941, in Loup County at her parents' home. He preceded her in death. Irene was also preceded in death by two infant children. Survivors are: daughter and son-in-law, Karolee and Ross Plock of Burwell; son, Gary Ingraham and his significant other, Kay Rehtus, of Cozad; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Jean Vorm of Boring, Ore. Burial was in the Cottonwood Cemetery, Burwell, NE. Published in The Grand Island Independent on March 30, 2012
