Bio

Gresham Outlook, 8 April 2016: Clifford Vorm was born September 19, 1923, in Ord, Nebraska, to Ella (Clement) and William Worm, the youngest of eight children. He passed away March 10, 2016. After high school, Cliff moved to Portland and attended Cascade College where he met Jean Ellen Query. Cliff and Jean were married in 1950. Cliff lived a long and purposeful life that touched many. He taught school for many years and then worked as a chaplain for Nursing Home Ministries. Cliff had a beautiful tenor voice and loved to sing. He sang for church services and with the Portland Symphonic Choir. He also conducted several church choirs. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2013, and is survived by his five children, Susan Hammer (Lloyd), Tom Vorm, Roger Vorm, Dan Vorm (Kerry), and Sarah Reardon (David); seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring, Oregon, on April 17, 2016, at 4 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Good Shepherd Community Church.
