Services for Nan Bilberry, 58, Lubbock, were Tuesday, October 14, 1997 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Spur. Rev. Tommy Henderson, Spur, and Rev. C.L. Atkinson, Afton, officiated. Burial was in the Afton Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home. Mrs. Bilberry died Sunday, October 12 at St. Mary Hospital, Lubbock. Mrs. Bilberry was born November 28, 1938 in Afton. She graduated from Patton Springs High School in 1956. She married Jackie Bilberry April 21, 1957 in Afton. She had lived in Lubbock since 1983 moving from Plainview. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Plainview. Survivors include her husband, Jackie Bilberry, Ruidoso, New Mexico; her mother, Pauline Bateman, Afton; two daughters, Shawna Grigg, Lubbock; Kristi Harris, Plainview; two brothers, Ray Bateman, Jr., Weatherford; Stanley Bateman, Deer Lake; Cherry Degraffenreid, Muleshoe; Tammy Roberts, McCauley; and five grandchildren.
