Bio

Born the son of Ambrous Franklin Knight (1873 – 1958) Mary Elizabeth Loyless Knight (1878 – 1950), he married Jean Pearl Truba born in 1920 in Michigan and they had one daughter, Bobby Jean Knight born 1943 in San Diego, California, two sons, Dean Alan and Marc Evan, and another daughter, Beverly Elaine (later Albers). In World War II Mr. Knight enlisted early on July 10, 1940 and was a mine planter and cook and was shown as 6 foot and 145 pounds. He isn't buried in Enon. He was cremated in California and his ashes were scattered in the Palm Desert near Palm Springs, CA. His wife Jean Pearl Truba followed there a few years later. They camped on the Colorado River for vacation for decades and loved the desert as they drove through it while living in Southern California which is why they selected that spot. This cemetery is for their memorial only. He and his wife had eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, although only one the great grandchildren had been born before they passed away.
