Dora Mabry Knight, born 20 May 1917 in Upshur Co., Tx., the daughter of Ambrous Franklin Knight (1873-1958) and Mary Elizabeth Loyless (1878-1950). She was married to Gus Mayes (born about 1909) and their children included Carolynn Louise Mayes (born about 1938) and Jacklyn Elizabeth Mayes (born about 1942).
