Born Feb. 16, 1897, in Vineyard to George and Tora Larsen Smith. Married Ina Carson May 17, 1926 in Provo. Employed by Provo city past seven years. Member, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors: widow, sons, daughters; Robert W., Salt Lake City; Raymond M., San Bernardino, Calif.; George J., Orem; Leon, Spanish Fork; Lyle, American Fork; Robert L., Barth L, Jane E., and Tora Marie Smith, all of Provo; Mrs. Dorothy Fo[?], Highland, Calif.; Mrs. Normalean Snyder, Anaheim, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother and sister.
