Emil Shumbera son of Anton and Anna Shumbera.Emil Shumbera married Mary Doubrava on October 27,1908. ___________________ Final Rites For Emil Shumbera,80,Held Saturday Funeral services were held at Hubbard Funeral Home Saturday morning,Dec.26,for Emil Shumbera,80,who died at 2 a.m. Thursday in Youens Hospital. Rev.Herbert Zimmerman officiated. Mr.Shumbera had been a member of the SPJST Lodge for 61 years. Mr.Shumbera had fallen Sept.15,breaking his hip,and had been in Youens Hospital since.He had been recovering well,however,and was to have been released frome the hospital in time to enjoy Christmas at home,when he suffered a stroke Wednesday,Dec.23. Mr.Shumbera was born Sept.3,1884,at Ammannsville,a son of Anton and Annie Tumis Shumbera.In 1907 he moved to Skidmore,where on Oct.27,1908,he married Miss Mary Doubrava.They moved to Borden in 1920 and had lived there since.Mrs.Shumbera died only last May. Pallbearers were Wm. Hudec,Henry Hudec,George Hanus,Adolph Shumbera,Wm. Shumbera and Rudolph Shumbera. condenced Weimar Mercury,December 31,1964,p.1
