Grand Island Independent Friday December 20, 1996 Page 16 A Dorothy M. Roach, 66, of Grand Island, died Wednesday Dec. 18, 1996, at her home. Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday at the Grand Island City Cem. The Rev. Thomas Ryan will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Mrs. Roach was born May 27, 1930 at Rockville to Victor and Clara (Ziola) Grudzinski. She attended schools in Sherman and Buffalo counties and graduated from Ravenna High School in 1948. She Married Lester J. Roach on Nov. 24, 1949, at Grand Island. Mrs. Roach worked for seven years in maintenance at the Hall County Courthouse. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish and the altar society. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Cindy Hess of St Pete's Beach, Fla., Cathy Davis of Fayetteville, Ark., and Christi Paulson of Palmyra; two sisters, LaVada Blackburn of Littleton, Colo., and Bertha Working of Rialto, Calif., and two brothers, Leonard Grudzinski of Central Ctiy and Jerome Grudzinski of Rapid City, S.D. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
