CENTENNIAL, Colo. -- La Vada A. Blackburn, 69, of Centennial, Colo., died July 2001 in Denver. Services were at Rocky Mountain Community Church in Front Ridge, Colo. She was cremated. Mrs. Blackburn was born Dec. 15, 1931, at Loup City. She married Ross Roach in 1951. They lived in Grand Island and had two children, Richard and Randall. She worked as a bookkeeper for Cates Tire Co., U.S.F.G. and the Fonner race track. They were divorced in 1973. She married Albert Blackburn on Dec. 14, 1981, in Whitefish, Mont. She also worked for Albert Blackburn and Herbert Knickrehm Insurance in the Equitable Building. She enjoyed golfing and bowling. Survivors include two sons, Randall Roach of Broomfield, Colo., and Richard Roach of Centennial, Colo.; a sister, Bertha Working of Banning, Calif.; two brothers, Jerome Grudzinski, Rapid City, S.D., and Leonard Grudzinski of Central City; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert
