Flint Journal, The (MI) - Wednesday, January 7, 2004 COPPOC, Oliver Wendell - Age 95, of 9 Carriage Lane, Taylors, SC went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 4, 2004. He was born in Harold, NE on October 18, 1908. After marrying Rose Ella Hoppell Coppoc in April 1934, they moved to Michigan where Oliver worked as a farmer and for Buick Motor Company. Preceding his death was his wife Rose Coppoc, daughter Shirley Coppoc, and grandson Rodney Coppoc. Surviving are: three children, Deanna Coppoc of South Lyons, MI, Duane Coppoc of Taylors, SC, Ruth Harrow of Flushing, MI; a brother Loran Coppoc of Hot Springs, AR, a sister Geraldine Keatering of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Remembrance Mausoleum, Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Woodlawn Funeral Home.
