James Obie Clemons died in McGregor, November 15, 1937. He was born in Wilson County, Tennessee, March 11, 1876, the son of George Clemons and Florence Pollard, both of whom were born in Tennessee. His wife was Sallie Clemons Burial was in Osage Cemetery by Amsler Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Tom Clemons, Harris Clemons, George Clemons, Claud Knight. C.C. Curry and Winford Clemons. Informant was Mrs. Velma Smith of Buchanan Dam, Texas. Recorded in Amsler Funeral Home Records, Book 2.
