Josie Lee Clemons Elder RANGER - Josie Lee Clemons Elder, 93, died Tuesday in a Bridgeport nursing home. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Elder officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Elder was born in O Sage and attended school in the Patton area. She was a homemaker and moved to Ranger in 1938. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was the widow of John William Elder Sr., whom she married in 1920 in Patton. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Mara of Chico; two sons, J.W. Elder Jr. of North Richland Hills and Billy Ray Elder of Midland; two sisters, Nellie Kelton of McGregor and Willie Mattlage of Valley Mills; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
