Bio
Robert Van Clearman, age 88, died at his home in Osage on Tuesday, October 19, 1943. He was born on September 8, 1855. He was a pioneer of that community, having lived there for over 45 years. Survivors include his wife, Lucinda Clearman; six daughters, Mrs. J.B. Swift, Mrs Creassie Jayroe of Osage, Mrs. Fannie Hallmark of Beaumont, Mrs Millie Kirk of Waco, Mrs. Corrie Griffith of Luders, Mrs. Will Robinson of Oglesby; four sons, Henry of Bangs, Jake of Oglesby, Sam of Denton and Bob of Dallas. Burial was in Osage Cemetery by Lee Undertakers. McGregor Mirror: Oct 22, 1943
