Mrs. Alice Lacy Dies on Sunday Mrs. Alice M. Lacy, 74, died Sunday evening in a Grand Island hospital. Her home was at 233 North White. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Geddes Funeral Home in Grand Island and burial was in the Phillips cemetery. Mrs. Lacy was born Nov. 26, 1884, in Hamilton county, to Mr. and Mrs. James W. DeVore. She attended schools in Hamilton county. She and Henry F. Lacy were married June 19, 1902, in Grand Island. They moved to a farm in Howard county in 1908 and came to Grand Island to make their home in 1941. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1952. Surviving are two sons, Lyle J. Lacy of Grand Island and Wray G. Lacy of Chapman: four daughters, Mrs. Violet Steffen, Mrs. Mary Ott and Mrs. Alice Ummel, all of Grand Island, and Mrs. Irene Stunkel, Hordville; four sisters, Mrs. John Linden, Los Angeles, Mrs. Jessie Van Atta, North Platte, Mrs. Pete Graae, Palmer, and Mrs. John Koch, Grand Island; two brothers, Charles DeVore, Phillips, and Harry DeVore, Grand Island; 19 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
