FORT WORTH - Ruth E. Switzer, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2011. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at South Park Baptist Church, 7201 Crowley Road. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Guardian Funeral Home. She will be forever remembered as a strong Christian mom and "Nanny." She was predeceased by husband of 53 years, Mickey Switzer, and daughter, Mickie Sue Martin. Survivors: Children, Wayne Switzer (Charlotte), Alan Switzer (Joyce), Karen White (Eddie) and Sharon Kerce; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
