Bio

Norman C. Roach Funeral services for Norman C. Roach, 79, a retired rancher, were scheduled for 3:30 p.m. today at Cage-Mills Funeral Chapel. Dr. L. U. Spellman , pastor of South Bluff Methodist Church, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Seaside Memorial Park. Roach, of 1021 Seventeenth, died Saturday night at a local convalescent home. He was born in Duval County near Hebbronville and had lived in Corpus Christi 36 years. Surviving are his wife, Eugenia; eight sons, Arthur C., Felix, Joseph and Oscar, all of Corpus Christi, Fred of Hebbronville, Charles of Arlington, Va., Edmund of Lake Charles, La., and Eugene of Long Island, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Matthews of Corpus Christi and Miss Stella Roach of Hollywood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Allen Hall of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Henry Curbello of Freeport and Mrs. Power Fenner of Freer; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
