Wallace Ellsworth Harden was born 28 May 1865 at Muscotah, Atchison Co., KS to William H. Harden and Mary Catherine Watson. He was the third of five children. In 1895 he married Louisa Catherine "Kate" Mahurin. They had three children Leota Pearl (Gontz)(4 Jul 1897 - May 1981), Lola Ethel (Davison)(16 Jul 1899 - Feb 1982) and Henry Ellsworth (28 Aug 1905 - 8 Oct 1996) Wallace died 2 Sep 1939 at Huron, Atchison Co., KS and is buried beside his wife "Kate" at Huron Cemetery.
