Bio

Atchison Daily Globe, Tuesday, 30 March 1915 Mrs. Katherine Harden age 71, widow of Henry Harden, died at her home in the Old Huron neighborhood at 9 o'clock this morning of kidney trouble. She was ill but a week. Funeral services will be held in the Bethel church at 1:30 Thursday afternoon, the Rev. H. I. Miller officiating, and the burial will be in the Old Huron cemetery. Mrs. Harden was one of the early settlers of the Old Huron neighborhood, going there in 1856 and living there constantly. She is survived by three sons, W. H., Wallace and El and a daughter, Mrs. Belle Weaver, of Wakefield, Kansas.
