Salt Lake Tribune, The ( UT ) - August 16, 1992 Annie Luella Turpin, 86, passed away August 15, 1992 at a Sandy care center. Born January 20, 1906 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Paul Andrew and Annie Dorthea Petersen Rosenlund. She married James Moroni Turpin February 27, 1924 in the Manti LDS Temple; he died February 1, 1979. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many positions through the years. She loved crafts, especially crocheting. She was a very giving person. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kathryn and Rex Hackett of Midvale; Kenneth and Donna Turpin of Magna; Ruth and John Galuppo of Layton; 10 grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart; 32 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Allen Roselund of Layton; Fergus Rosenlund of Mt. Pleasant; Max Rosenlund of Holladay; Ruth Despain of Virginia. Preceded in death by sister, Vivian Hansen; brothers, Don and Bert Rsenlund. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Grant 5th LDS Ward Chapel, 3153 South 900 East. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and Tuesday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
