Allan Ervin Rosenlund LAYTON - Allan Ervin Rosenlund, age 80, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 1998 of natural causes. He was born in Spring City, Utah, January 30, 1918, a son of Paul Andrew and Annie Dothea Petersen Rosenlund. Allan married Marjorie Williams, March 31, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Allen served with the Navy for 3 1/2 years, from 1941 to 1945. He was employed at H.A.F.B., 37 years, retiring in 1978. He was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as Bishop and in various other capacities. He loved the gospel and spent his life in giving of himself to his family and others. He was a great supporter of the missionary work of the church. Allan loved building and maintaining his cabin, hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors with his family. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jessica Rosenlund. The family wishes to thank Vista Care Center in Ogden for their kind care. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 1998 at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., with Bishop Sharp officiating. Viewing with family and friends will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton.
