Bio

Max Andrew Rosenlund, 67, was called home by his Heavenly Father on July 8, 1993 in his Salt Lake home from cancer. He is now reunited with his parents and son, Boyd Clark Rosenlund. Born March 20, 1926 in Fairview, Utah, the 10th child of Paul Andrew and Annie Dorthea Petersen Rosenlund. Married Tresia Clark October 23, 1945 in Evanston, Wyoming; sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple December 9, 1960. He was a Seventy in the LDS Church. He was admired for his integrity and had the gift of patience, humor and a genuine love for animals. Very talented craftsman and handyman. Loved fishing, camping, traveling, and was an avid fan of the Salt Lake Golden Eagles. Above all he loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Max was a faithful employee of Galigher Machine Co. (B.G.A. Co) for 30 years. Survived by wife, Tresia; son, Wayne (Linda) Rosenlund; daughter-in-law, Star Graves; daughters, Karen (Andrew) Baggs; Paula (Larry) Hunsaker; Patricia (Danny) Fitzgerald; brothers, Fergus and Allen Rosenlund; sister, Ruth Despain; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Eugene, Bert and Don; sisters, Mable Rosenlund, Vivian Hansen, and Luella Turpin. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 12, 1993, 11 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m and Monday, one hour prior to services.
