Bio
Alexander Mosby Stratton's first-marriage date was approximately 1858; this was to Mildred A. Willingham. They had the following children: Robert Babel, Monteville Theodore, Nancy Bell, Mary Alice. After Mildred died, Mosby later married a second time; this marriage to Susie Josephene McGary which was in about 1865-67. They had the following children: Lee David, Molly Josephene, Ada Z, Bella Geraldine, Sidney Taylor, Mildred L (Mittie), and Jacob Corbet. At some point after 1882 (probably 1884), Mosby Stratton moved his family from Carlisle Co, KY, to the area of Merit, Hunt Co., TX. His oldest son, Robert B. Stratton, and most of Mosby's younger children apparently went to Texas with them.
