Betty Jean Anderson, 74, of Guymon OK passed away November 12, 2011, at the BSA Hospice in Amarillo TX. The daughter of Samuel Lester and Gertrude (Ahrens) Jackson, she was born March 14, 1937, in Sterling CO. Betty was raised in Sterling and attended the Sterling school system. Betty and Arthur Anderson were married on June 26, 1957, in Sterling. They made their home in Sterling until August of 1986, when they moved to Guymon. Betty is survived by her husband of 54 years, Arthur Anderson, of the home; daughter Tammy and husband Daniel Groseclose of Guymon; son Dennis Anderson of Guymon; grandchildren Kenneth Morrell Anderson, Meagan Anderson, and Sarah Groseclose; brothers Duane Jackson of Ft. Morgan CO, David Jackson of Denver CO, George Jackson and Bob Jackson, both of Sterling CO; and sisters Hazel Lambrecht of Sterling CO, Linda Preston of Illinois, and Ila Jackson of California.
