Bio
Mary Jane Evers,74 of Sedgwick, was born Jan. 4, 1935 in Sterling, and died Thurs., July 16, 2009 in Haxtun. Memorial services were held Mon., July 20, 2009 at the Berean Bible Church in Haxtun. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Haxtun Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Mary Jane Evers Memorial Fund. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Gertrude (Ahrens) Jackson. Mrs. Evers is survived by her husband James Evers of Sedgwick; daughters: Frances Garrett, Mary Ann Anderson, Jo Ellen Buss and Carol McCarthy; sons: Richard Buss, William (Billy) Buss and Mark Evers; 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild; brothers: Robert Jackson, David Jackson, Duane Jackson and George Jackson; and sisters: Hazel Lambrecht, Betty Anderson, Linda and Ila Spencer.
