Sgt. WILLIAM THOMAS FARRAR was born on 30 March 1834 in Georgia to William Powel Farrar (1802-1861) & Hannah Minter-Farrar (1804-1843). William married Ellen Maria Peck-Farrar on 4 September 1856 in Putnam County, Georgia, and they had FIVE Children of record: Mary Louisa Farrar (1857-1862), Charles Minter Farrar, Sr (1859-1954), Olive Farrar-Odom (1864-1913), Lillian "Lilly" Farrar-Hendricks (1864-1953), and Thadius Deming Farrar (1867-?). After Ellen passed away, William married Matilda Lane-Farrar on 30 October 1873 in Baldwin County, Georgia, and they had THREE Children: Alma Irene Farrar-Bonner (1874-1953), Elizabeth Frances Farrar-Stewart (1876-1955), and William Henry Farrar (1879-1948). William passed away on 19 September 1895 in Bibb County Georgia according to the Georgia Death Index. (NOTE: Entered as Riverside Cemetery in the 1932 newspaper article).
