The Dawson News November 30, 1939 MRS. M. A. HOWARD DIES AT ADVANCED AGE FUNERAL SERVICES FOR BELOVED WOMAN HELD AT REHOBETH CHURCH Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Adelia Howard, aged 93, were held at Rehobeth Baptist Church near Shellman Sunday, with Rev. J. C. Grimes, pastor of the church, officiating. Grandchildren of Mrs. Howard served as pall bearers. Mrs. Howard's passing came Friday at the home of her grand-daughter, Mrs. Cecil Bentley, with whom she had made her home for the past two years. A native of Putnam County, Mrs. Howard came to this section about twelve years ago, making her home with her son, Mr. W. H. Howard, until she removed to Randolph County. Her gracious and friendly manner made her greatly beloved by all with whom she came in contact, and her kindly influence will live on. She was a member of the Eatonton Methodist Church. Surviving are three sons, E. M. Howard, of Grave, M. P. Howard, of Savannah, and E. R. Howard, of Birmingham. Eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. J. P. Fitspatrick, of Dawson, is a grand-daughter of the deceased. The family has the sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement.
