He was born Aug. 29, 1912, in Hollandale, Miss., and was a resident of Baton Rouge for 60 years. He was a retired Barber Brothers Contracting Co. general superintendent with 50 years' service. Preceded in death by first wife, Annie Laura Caldwell Hollingsworth.
