Pauline Cooper Hollingsworth March 13, 1916 - October 18, 2005 The last of her generation, she was born March 13, 1916, to Thomas and Desdemona Cooper. A native of Rosepine and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Goodwood Baptist Church. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting in the funeral home chapel on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Mitch Harris. Entombment immediately following in Greenoaks Mausoleum. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Anne Moore; three sons, Spencer Scott Hollingsworth and wife Bonita, Joseph Phillip Hollingsworth and John Thomas Hollingsworth , all of Baton Rouge; stepdaughter, Ann Rozier of Dallas; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Spencer Scott Hollingsworth ; stepdaughter, Jane Newman; daughter-in-law, Rachel D. Hollingsworth ; three sisters and a brother. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Special thanks for the loving care given to her by the staff of Heritage Manor. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Goodwood Baptist Church.
