Bio

Daughter of Herman and Jenny Luedtke. Married Earl W. Gogan on April 13, 1940. Three children born to this union: Gerald (Jerry) William Linda Maxine (Hauschild) John Eugene Services at Arcadia Church for Mrs. Lola Gogan, Age 51 Lola Gogan, wife of Earl Gogan of Arcadia, died Jan. 7 at the Valley County Hospital. She was 51 years old. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the United Methodist Church at Arcadia. The Rev. C.R. Campbell officiated at the 2pm service. Mrs. Gus Foth, Jr. and Mrs. Gordon Foth sang “In The Garden” and “Beyond the Sunset” accompanied by Mrs. Guy Lutz, organist. Pallbearers were Orin Kingston, Lloyd Paben, Donnel Holman, Vance Ohme, Donald Fells and Earl Leininger. Interment was in Arcadia Cemetery with Hastings-Pearson Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Gogan, daughter of Herman and Jennie Mowry Luedtke, was born Nov. 19, 1919, at Arcadia. After graduating in 1937 from Arcadia High School, she taught two years in an elementary school near Comstock. On Apr. 13,1940, she and Earl Gogan were married at Greeley. Their home had since been on a farm near Arcadia. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Gerald of Ames, Ia., and John of Kearney; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Maxine Hauschild of Lincoln; one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Murray of Arcadia and three brothers, Keith Luedtke and Donald Luedtke, both of Arcadia and Kinsey Kuedtke of Hastings.
