He is survived by his wife, Verna; sons, Joe, Syracuse, Dean, Kilgore, Tex., and Robert, Utica; daughter, Mrs. Ron (Margaret Ann) Oswald, Utica; sisters, Mrs. Norval (Ruth) Crowser, Cordova, and Hazel Lansdale, Salinas, Calif.; half-brother, Pete Helget, San Lorenzo, Calif.; half-sisters, Mrs. Leo (Margaret) Jokerest, Fremont, Calif., Mrs. Jim (Doris) Geiger, Utica , Mrs. Robert (Josephine) Behrens, Union City, Calif., and Mrs. Loren (Theresa) Beckman, Fremont, Calif.; stepsister, Mrs. Gil (Helen) Nelsen, Grand Island; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, May 26, 1989 at the United Methodist Church, Beaver Crossing, with the Rev. David Muench officiating. Interment was in the Beaver Crossing Cemetery.
