Bio

Jeanette "Jenny" I. Mason, 95, of West Peoria, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Manor Care in Peoria. Jeanette was born May 25, 1916, in Pottstown, Ill., to George and Edna Stear Turner. She married Harold Mason on April 3, 1959, in Lewistown, Ill. Surviving is her husband, Harold of West Peoria, Ill.; and her son, LeRoy (Jean) Dohm Sr. of West Peoria, Ill. Jeanette was preceded in death by six brothers, a sister and one great-great-grandson. Jeanette was a waitress in the Peoria area for many years. She was a member of the VFW Post 2078 Ladies Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star Cloverleaf Chapter 1002. Interment will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Full obit in the Peoria Journal Star - August 13, 2011 .
