Bio

Clarence H. "Corkey" Dohm, 81, of 2511 N. Hilltop Court died Thursday, Feb. 27, 1997, at Proctor Hospital. Born March 2, 1915, in Platte Center, Neb., to Arnold and Lucille Laudenklos Dohm, he married Leone Powers on April 4, 1967, in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are one son, LeRoy of West Peoria; one brother, Adolph "Rudy" of Peoria Heights; two grandchildren. His stepfather, Louie Dohm, who raised him, one sister and one great-great-grandson preceded him in death. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 649 for 45 years, retiring in 1978. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Full obit in the Peoria Journal Star - March 1, 1997.
