Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Saturday, 11 Jun 1994, page A2: “Obituaries, Hubert Reeves GARLAND – Funeral services for Hubert W. Reeves, 78, were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jay Dennis and Rev. Steve Swafford officiating. Graveside services followed at 4 p.m. in Tidwell Cemetery, Tidwell. Mr. Reeves died Thursday in Garland. He was born Sept. 22, 1915, in Hunt County. He was a former aircraft worker and member of Orchard Hills Baptist Church, Garland. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Reeves; daughters, Carolyn Roland of Garland, Brenda Swofford of Rockwall and Janell Martin of Carrollton; sister, Judy Bench of Greenville; and eight grandchildren. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.”
