Greenville (Texas) Banner, Monday, 7 Feb 1955, page 2: Mrs. Ora Reeves Dies In Dallas; Funeral Pending Mrs. Ora Reeves, 70, a resident of 1403 Wesley Street, died at 12:15 this morning in a Dallas hospital. She had been visiting her son in Garland for the past two months and had been in failing health for several months. The arrangements are being made by James-Coker-Peters Funeral home. Mrs. Reeves was born in Kingston on February 15, 1884 and was the daughter of Henry Jacobs and Mary E. Butler Jacobs. She was married to E. A. Reeves in 1900 and he preceded her in death in 1935. Surviving are one son, Hubert W. Reeves of Garland; three daughters, Mrs. W. C. Wilburn of Wagner; Mrs. Elmer Martin of Lawton, Oklahoma and Mrs. V. C. Bench of Victoria; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her husband and six children preceded her in death.
