Her death came as a great shock to her many friends in this city and county. Funeral services will be held at the Tidwell Baptist Church at 4 o'clock this afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. Weldon Drake, pastor, assisted by Rev. W. O. Majors, pastor of Lamar Baptist Church of this city. Interment will be in the cemetery at Tidwell. Pall bearers will be: Orville Bench, Robert Dixon, Volly Rose, Russell Cozart, Frank Hale and Hershel Corley. Lovena Ora Manley was born in the Tidwell community, north of this city, on September 30, 1918 and died on her birthday at the age of twenty-four years. She had resided in that community all of her life until she moved to Greenville with her husband. She was the daughter of the late E. A. Reeves and Ora Jacobs Reeves, prominent Hunt County residents. ... She was married to Wayne Manley on August 24, 1937 and he survives together with one son, Wayne Michael. She is also survived by her mother, Mr. E. A. Reeves of Tidwell, two brothers, Hubert of Rockwall and Newton of Tidwell; three sisters, Mrs. May Wilburn, Wagner; Miss Ardella Reeve (sic), Greenville and Juette Reeves, Tidwell. Two nieces and 3 nephews also survive. Mrs. Manley, who was Lovena Ora Reeves before her marriage, was a native of the Tidwell community, and was born on Sept. 30, 1918, her death coming on her birthday. She was the daughter of the late E.A. Reeves and Ora Jacobs Reeves. She spent most of her life in the Tidwell community, and was residing in Greenville at the time of her death. A conscientious Christian, Mrs. Manley was a member of Lamar Baptist church and lived true to its tenets. She possessed numerous splendid traits which were today being lauded by a large group of friends. Mrs. Manley is survived by her husband whom she married on August 24, 1937; a son, Wayne Michael Manley:; her mother, Mrs. E.A. Reeves of Tidwell; two brothers Hubert Reeves of Rockwell and Newton Reeves of Tidwell; and three sisters, Mrs. May Wilburn of Wagner; Miss Ardella Ardella Reeves of Greenville and Juette Reeves. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
