The Creighton News, Wed. April 2, 2003, page 5; Frieda A. von Rentzell ; Funeral services for Frieda A. von Rentzell, 94, of Creighton were held Tues. April 1, 2003 at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton. Reverend Dwight Albers officiated the 11 am service with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton. Pall bearers were Charles Muller, Bert Wagner, Troy Whitmarsh, Patrick Muller, Wayne Whitmarsh and Bradley Linnell. Frieda Augusta Anna von Rentzell, daughter of Raymond and Lizzie (Moeller) Siercks, was born Aug. 16, 1908 at Wausa, NE. She was raised in the Lutheran faith, and she attended rural school at District #118 in Knox county. After moving to Creighton, Frieda was employed at the local bakery. She was married to Henry Muller in June of 1931, and began her life as a farmer's wife. Four children were born to this union. Her husband passed away in 1944 and she was married to Gustav von Rentzell. They were the parents of two daughters. Frieda passed away March 29, 2003 at the Creighton Care Center at the age of 94. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (Muller) Wagner of Creighton and Donna (vonRentzell) Whitmarsh of Omaha; two sons and their wives, Robert and Edith Muller of Bancroft and Leo and Ruth Muller of Janesville, WI; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, son Gail Muller, daughter Darlene (vonRentzell) Linnell, one grandson and three great grandchildren.
