Mr. Eldridge is survived by two brothers, Willie Eldridge of Wolfe City and Raymond Eldridge of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Clem Parrish of Greenville and Mrs. Avo Lilly of Carlsbad, N. M. Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Sunday, 23 Feb 1964, page A7, Deaths, Charlie Eldridge Funeral for Charlie Eldridge, native of Hunt County and retired barber who died suddenly in Corpus Christi, will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Sorrells and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Albert Click will officiate and interment will be in the Tidwell Cemetery. Mr. Eldridge was born in the White Rock Community and operated the Eldridge Barber Shop in Greenville for many years. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David Wilson of Dallas; two brothers, Will Eldridge and Raymond Eldridge; two sisters, Mrs. Clem Parrish of Greenville and Mrs. Elmer Lilly of New Mexico.
