Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Tuesday, 18 Jun 1970, page 2, Deaths, Parish Mrs. Altie Parish, 72, of 4206 Second St., died about 11:50 p.m. Sunday in a Greenville hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Chapel with Dr. Harrison Baker officiating. Burial will be in Tidwell Cemetery. She was born March 13, 1898, in the Whiterock community, the daughter of John Eldridge and Susie Eldridge. She was married to Clem Parish on Oct. 7, 1917. She was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are the widower, Clem Parish of Greenville; two sons, C. L. Parish Jr. of Tyler and James Harold Parish of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Poe of Greenville and Mrs. Irene Petty of Greenville, and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Members of the family will be at the residence of Mrs. Irene Petty, R.t. (sic) 5. -- MRS.
