Greenville (Texas) Messenger, Friday, 5 Dec 1924, page 3, TIDWELL YOUTH DIED HERE FRIDAY MORNING Frank Pierce, aged 16 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Pierce, died at a local hospital early last Friday morning, following and operation and the body was carried to Tidwell for burial Friday afternoon. Frank was a fine young fellow and popular with schoolmates and friends who grieve his untimely death. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their grief and sorrow.
