B.J. Bell and Rev. Dewey Davidson officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Beene died Sunday in her residence. She was born to William Claude and Luna Irene Miller Pearce in Hunt County on Sept. 30, 1906. She married Hick Beene on Feb. 1, 1925 in Greenville. She was a member of the Park Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of Greenville; one daughter, Mrs. Bettie Lou Kesler of Greenville; two brothers, Clarence Pearce of Greenville and Dick Pearce of Garland; one grandson and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Been was preceded in death by one daughter, Theda Nell Moore, on Sept. 15, 1980, one brother, Frank Pearce, and one sister Ila Mae Pearce. Pallbearers will be Leonard Telford, Oley Cleveland, Henry Lee, Hugh Rowan, Don Kesler and Lute Maxwell.
